Moving

We will give you resources to help you move and, if needed, downsize from your home to your new living arrangement.

Assisted Living Communities

Assisted Living Communities are a great option when a little extra care is needed. Typically, they provide assistance with bathing, meals, medication management andmost activities of daily living. Most of the Assisted Living Communities can help with as little or as much care as you may need. Some of these communities have a memory unit as well.

Typically, a Skilled Nursing Home would be the next step if an Assisted Living Community is not able to meet the needs of the resident. We will be able to help you with that assessment. All of these communities range in locations, size and services. Prices will range based on the amount of care required. Independent Living Communities

Independent Living Communities are a great option when you are ready to move to a different location. Many of these locations look like apartments or condominiums. They may have a small kitchen in your residence or a central dining area, or both. Some of these locations provide light house-keeping and transportation. Laundry facilities are typically located in the community. These ammunities are a great source for social interaction. Prices range from approximately $2,000 to $6,000. Board and Care Homes

There are a wide range of Board and Care Homes in your community. These are single family homes that typically have up to six people living within them. The appearance of the facility is important, but more importantly, is the quality of the care being provided. As a potential resident, you want to ensure that the quality and cleanliness of the location meets with your expectations. When you are considering a specific home, you should visit the home to meet and speak with the staff and other residents. Some Board and Care Homes have shared rooms and some private. Prices range from approximately $2,000 to $6,000. We will help you with choosing the location within the price range that works best for you.
